On Zoom: Christopher, Andrei, Janusz, Hideki, Daniela, Ruslan, Xiaomei
Apologies:

Follow-up from previous meetings

  • Last BildX On Dec 17th
  • Last DIRAC Hackathon: 2 weeks ago
    • NTR for today
  • Last BiLD:
    • last week
  • Last DIRAC+X hackathon:
    • last week, worked not only for DiracX.
    •  Ruslan mostly worked on the extension. An image was created, few issues with that, contacting  Christophe for that on mattermost. Latest changes pushed on personal branch.

Progress updates

  • from previous meeting DiracX is now installed on CERN openshift against DIRAC certification

    • https://diracx-cert.app.cern.ch/ is up, only JobMonitoring available (rather reduced functionalities)
      • login through IAM (at least GridPP is working)
      • Your SUB string needs to be, for the moment, added by hand
  • from previous meeting Created a project board on GitHub for planning the first release

  • Reminder: the web app developments are waiting for your answers to https://github.com/DIRACGrid/diracx-web/discussions/63

    • 2 weeks “deadline” for answering them
  •  Christophe added a flag in DIRAC CS for disabling DiracX (list of VOs). Also, added a list of legacy clients to enable/disable.

    • DisableVO has to be empty before enabling DiracX services.
  •  Christopher made PR for retrieving proxies through DiracX. At a minimum, this is needed for most of data access.

    • the proxies will still need to be uploaded through dirac-proxy-init command, and DiracX only implements GET method
  • Sync between Dirac and DiracX config improved (no need for external config)

    • For conversion, up until DIRAC is needed, the IAM SUBs are needed. This could be extracted directly from IAM, but this requires an admin token. So, tor the moment, these are added by hand.  Christophe is poking specific people so that the permission model of IAM is more fine-grained (which means understaning what the token actually allows).
  • HELM charts:

    •  Bertrand making progress, will be probably presented by the next meeting

Topics for discussion

  • In general, somewhat quiet since last time
