    Xboxes weekly meeting. 07.02.2024

    Attending: Paz Alonso Arias (PAA), Nuria Catalan Las Heras (NClH), Chiara Marrelli (CM), Matteo Volpi (MV), Walter Wuensch (WW), Alexei Grudiev (AG), Igor Syratchev (IS), Anisullah Baig (AB), Ping Wang (PW), Riccardo Boldrini (RB), Olivier Brunner (OB), Zaib Un Nisa (ZN), Lee Millar (LM),  Carmelo Barbagallo (CB)

     

    -Round of introductions to present MKS section to Riccardo Boldrini. He'll be here for six months.

    -Xbox2. Short summary on status of Xboxes. WW notices plots not showing full filling time of structure (60ns). PAA to fix this. 

    PAA comments on several BDs without BDC. Also, in some events, not reflected power. WW asks to see if they are real breakdowns or if it is acquisition problem (change thresholds). Something upstream, could be power splitter. If activity isn’t in the structure, we need to think what to do.

    -Xbox3. Update on calorimetry. Installation of temperature sensors in collector going on. Still waiting for flowmeters. In the meantime, using signal analyser (some problems due to trigger).
