Description
The unique parameter space of CERN’s ultra-relativistic particle beams offers tremendous opportunities for extreme light production at photon energies ranging from the Soft X-rays to γ-rays when paired to state-of-the-art high-power lasers. In this talk, I will review the recent advancements in laser frequency combs generation for the Gamma Factory Proof-of-principle experiment at SPS as well as for the production of hard-X-rays using inverse Compton scattering at the CLEAR facility.
