Toward precision studies of gluon saturation at the Electron-Ion Collider

After a brief introduction to gluon saturation and its signatures in high energy hadronic/nuclear collisions, we consider single and double inclusive hadron production in Deep Inelastic Scattering (DIS) and calculate Next to Leading Order (NLO) corrections to the production cross sections. We point out some limitations of the formalism used to investigate gluon saturation and outline a possible approach to go beyond the approximations commonly used.
