We live in a highly interconnected and accelerated society. More than ever-experienced, even small events produce large, global and highly unpredictable consequences that are non-linearly amplified1. Moreover, if these events develop exponentially as we are experiencing with the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the many issues that this pandemic has exposed is that a linear way of thinking is no longer valid. Our future as humankind requires replacing our traditional thinking archetypes and adopting non-linear and systemic approaches. Only in this way, we would be able to design scenarios for anticipating as much as possible the formidable challenges facing our Planet and us in the coming decades.
This will be a unique and transformative experience, as you will play an active role in IdeaSquare's groundbreaking education and training program: "IdeaSquare Planet" or simply "i2P."
i2P proposes an extraordinary adventure, a voyage that will take you beyond the boundaries of Earth and then back again. Picture, for a moment, a scenario where our beloved planet, Earth, requires a respite from human activity. In response, we are compelled to establish ourselves on another celestial body within the vast reaches of the Cosmos, either temporarily or even permanently. The specifics may be uncertain, but your mission is clear: to explore and understand how such a migration can be achieved, both in terms of quantitative and qualitative considerations. Rest assured; we won't ask you to solve the entire endeavor outright. Instead, we'll provide you with a carefully defined set of challenges, making this adventure simultaneously engaging and demanding.
In this workshop you will take the first steps, so...be ready for embracing the seemingly impossible!

Meeting point is at IdeaSquare: once out from the tram, walk around the Globe and through the Science Gateway parking lot.
You will find us at the end of the parking lot.
