Présent: Yves, Ivan, Francesco, Eva, Matthew, JLG

  • Was discuss the configuration of BA82 and number of PC being removed by the decomissioing of K12
  • Ivan and Yves commented that after the removal of the K12PCs only 7 circuits for M2 and COMPASS remain in BA82 (originally consolidation is forseen in LS4 with the exception of the PC of COMPASS) a good fraction of the builing will be empty!
  • Number of PCs for BDF/ship is draft and will evolve along the TDR phase. In addition there is the need to install 4 PCs for the dilution system (for 2 MDXH, and 2 MDXV)
  • New PCs will be water cooled
  • in term of CE modifcations:
    • BA82 floor modifcation/reinforcment to make it compatible with new PC
    • New slab for 5 transfromers (location to be seen)
    • Roof and walls when can this be done (LS4) is this compatible with the operation pending BA82 building report

 

Its has been  to continue on working on this optimization to evaluate the benefit for the construction phase, operation phase and sysnergie with NA-CONS. For this a first estimate of ressources, and timeline need to be made to asses the faisability and to identified posible consequence on the physic program of AMBER/COMPASS

Actions:

Yves/Ivan to provide a list of PCs and their associated requirements (M2, COMPASS, BDF/SHIP including the dilution system)

Eva (EL), Francesco (CV), Tamara/Kincso (SCE) to make a preliminary assement of the modifications/upgrade of the building and services for this implementation

All evalutation of ressources and timeline (possible start date of execution, duration, evalutation of the possibility to split the work along LS3, post LS3, YETSs before 2030) to be consolidated by Fernando

All check if within their respective group if this strategy is acceptable
