The FPCs of superconducting cavities developed for High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) shall be presented, including design, fabrication, on-test-bench high power conditioning and on-cavity high power test issues.
Recent Advances in Fundamental Power Couplers at IMP.
Specifically, will be discussed the FPCs process for CiADS project, FPCs process for HIAF project and Development of high gain conditioned system for the FPCs.
Will be summarized what has been presented to the Experts of the working group and focus on the design and issues faced by O-ring couplers for the LIPAc RFQ while increasing the RFQ DC aiming at CW operation, and design and tests performed on the brazed couplers.
The performances and failure cases of the power couplers of the IFMIF/EVEDA RFQ and ESS DTLs have been analysed with dedicated high power test campaigns and multipacting simulation methods. The paper presents test and simulation methodology and results, as well as some inputs for next activities.
