EELA2 CERN internal meeting

EELA post review: - recommendations: * interact with other projects * sustainability: involvement of local governments * JRU formed will be a plus EELA 2: - Draft 0 foreseen by March 23 - Draft 0.1 to be circulated by March 30 EELA 2 coordination: - CIEMAT current coordinator (Madrid) - CETA (an extension of CIEMAT in Estramadura) proposed as new coordinator Coordination/Management - Bernard Marechal will possibly become the project coordinator - CIEMAT will possibly join EUMedGrid - Philippe is in the 'Editorial Board' of EELA and EELA2 - role in EELA: * already filling timesheets as unfunded contribution from CERN * his "specific role" will possibly be explicitly mentioned in EELA2 DoW - discussion on partnership is ongoing (meeting in Argentina, 29-30 March) CERN in EELA2: - CERN participation in EELA2 is vital for the project - HEP will continue to be supported - LHCb, ALICE already supported - TIER2 sites in Brasil (not EELA) - plan to support the 4 experiments Specific subjects that will possibly be covered in the proposal: - Interoperability - Standardiasation - JRA complementary to EGEE * interoperability * optimisation of operation activities between projects * common support to VO * which pieces EELA2 may take care of implementing ? Actions: - draft proposal will be sent to CERN asap - coordination will send a letter asking for CERN's participation - Flo/Rob check with EGEE what kind of complementary activities EELA2 could cover Philippe is available to talk to Frederic/Bob for any additional question may raise.
