• Currently improving the Boreal firmware architecture following some corner cases exposed while working on the MPW4 integration.
  • New architecture is even more versatile, and completely relies on usage of block designs.
  • Only minor signal connections need to be made in the hierarchical structure.  
  • Synthesis + Implementation successful for the LED blinking demonstrator project with ZC706 board. Still to be tested with Peary
  • Workflow still need to be validated for ZCU102

• Petalinux workflow for image building is now almost fully set up. 
  • Discarded pre-configured peta-linux project to avoud proprietary issues
  • Refer to peta-caribou for new workflow and detailed user guide using Peta-Manager tool
  • Included pointer to PetaLinux docker to ease image generation
  • Only remaining feature --> Dynamic update of FPGA bitfile. It requires the enabling of the FPGA Manager module and some additional fixes that are described in the AMD Xilinx confluence page
