PLEASE BE AWARE THAT:
THE TOTAL COST WILL SHOW UP AS YOUR ROOM COST ON THE HOTEL BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL. THIS WILL BE CORRECTED ON YOUR FINAL BILL AS THEIR BOOKING SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW IT TO BE CHANGED FOR THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
THE TOTAL ROOM COST WILL BE REDUCED BY ~$80 AT THE TIME OF THE CONFERENCE AS SANDIA AND CONSORZIO RFX ARE SUBSIDIZING THE ROOM COST FOR EVERYONE (AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR STUDENTS AND POST-DOCS).
The total workshop cost includes

- Banquet dinner
You are able to book additional nights either before or after the workshop if you wish to stay and enjoy Lake Tahoe (or get over jet lag). For any extra nights the standard single room costs (USD)196.91/nightafter tax and the deluxe single room costs (USD)315.86 after tax.
Students and post-docs can apply for a limited number of Grants that will pay for the room portion of a shared room registration ((USD)654.55). Please contact chmoore@sandia.gov and mmhopki@sandia.gov for more information.
The registration cost and hotel accommodation are paid through the workshop hotel webpage. There will be no charges on your credit card until you arrive at the workshop in March.
Unfortunately the hotel reservation software does not have the flexibility to change the fields displayed/required and cannot display the workshop cost breakdown (seen at the top of this page) while registering. However, the final receipt given when you pay at the workshop will be broken down into an (USD)800 registration cost and a corresponding room cost.
After going to the hotel's registration page, you should see the following webpage. We have annotated the registration page image with instructions on what needs to be filled out. We apologize that we are not able to change the registration page and please if you have any issues contact plstjoh@sandia.gov to help resolve the issue.
