Installation Recap

  • No prototype installed during EYETS 24-25.
  • No equipment removal or dismantled during EYETS 24-25.
  • Some installation activities to be performed during EYETS 24-25. Defined in already drafted ECR.

Instrument Design – SY-BI

  • SY-BI to provide an external envelope of the instrument to TE-MSC and WP15.

Magnet Design – TE-MSC

  • TE-MSC to confirm magnet protection scheme.
  • TE-MSC to provide approximate 3D external envelope of the triplet magnet to WP15.
  • WP15 to study integration of magnet in IP4.
  • (Later stage) TE-MSC to provide SY-EPC a circuit diagram for the magnet powering scheme.

Power Converters – SY-EPC

  • WP15 to prepare integration layout schematics for power converters and racks.
  • WP15 to trigger meeting with EN-CV for cooling infrastructure integration (Olivier Crespo, Frederic Borralho, Yannic Body)
  • WP15 to trigger meeting with EN-EL for powering, fibres and signal cable routing integration (Yannick Coutron, Gael Girardot, Georgi Minchev Georgiev)

Additional next steps

  • SY-BI to define instrument water cooling infrastructure with EN-CV. Discussions launched with Olivier Crespo by Gunn.
  • SY-BI to define instrument cabling (powering, signal, fibres) infrastructure with EN-EL. DIC and DIF already submitted by Gunn.
  • SY-BI to discuss alignment with Jean Frederic Fuchs (BE-GM).
