Turnkey Software

When will EDM4hep 1.0 come? (Needs Link<F, T> in PODIO.)

ACTS geometry loading - whose responsibility?

  • ACTS geometry internals are not a problem
  • Leonard has been looking at this issue, but so far no one found the time to put in a proper fix

Simulation

Di Photon benchark could be in a next round of the calo-challenge (which is in preparation).

Speedups for PionClouds is not large, but this is pre-optimisation/distillation.It can now be optimised from a strong physics position. (Single shower speedups can be x10, but in complete physics events can be slower.)

Track Reconstruction

Particle Flow Reconstruction

Dual readout call no updates.

ACTION - Graeme/Frank to chase this up.

Test beam data has a lot of hits in it - challenging to reconstruct.

Validation against MicroBooNE looks very good, slightly higher efficiencies, but the validation dataset uses some truncated secondaries, so higher efficiencies may just come from this.

HeirerchyAnaysisAlgorithm is not 3D - that will be worked on next.
