Research Network Technology WG

Working on an update on the tech specs because there were some issues with Storm: the control channel can be able to send fireflies on behalf of the clients. But if they do, there is a risk of double tagging, so there is an on going email discussion to fix the specifications.

There is a continue interest on pacing with TC and BBR. Part of this effort can be merged with the analses of the data collected by ESnet during DC24 . A new student may be come to work on the HighTouch data.

AOB
Status of NOTED: a CERN summer student is working on the machine learning part of NOTED

Tim: we should remove ipv4 bandwidth test from LHCOPN perfsonar. because they pollute the IP6/IPv4 stats
