Overview

The SOC Hackathon will run for 2.5 days, with an agenda focused on R&E organisations that will be largely constructed from the needs of the community in general and attendees in specific. However, to support this process we define some ground rules/initial structure.

Location

The Hackathon will take place at the Jisc London Offices, 15 Fetter Lane, London, EC4A 1BW, with two breakout rooms available throughout the event.

There is no parking at this office, however it is well connected with public transport:

  1. The nearest bus stop is Fetter Lane which is just round the corner from the office.
  2. The nearest underground stations within walking distance are: Farringdon (Elizabeth Line - eight minutes), Blackfriars (Circle and District - ten minutes), Chancery Lane (Central - ten minutes), Temple (Circle and District - ten minutes).
  3. Mainline railway stations within walking distance are: Blackfriars , Charing Cross, City Thameslink.
  4. The nearest coach station is Victoria Coach Station.

See Plan a journey - Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk) and / or download the TfL Go app (Android / iOS) for timetables and live status details.

You must be registered to attend Face to Face as visitor passes will need to be arranged for you.

Dinner

We anticipate organising a self-hosted hackathon dinner on the second night (Tuesday).
