The Physics Department at the University of Michigan supported by The Leinweber Center for Theoretical Physics will host the 1-day 2024 Fall PIKIMO Meeting on Saturday, November 16.
PIKIMO ("Phenomenology in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio") is a series of informal phenomenology meetings, with talks primarily given by graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. The focus of the meeting will be particle phenomenology, but we welcome connections with nuclear physics, astrophysics, and cosmology.
We expect a mix of student and post-doc talks, along with an invited talk by Zhengkang "Kevin" Zhang (Utah).
If you are interested in giving a talk, please register here and submit and abstract so we can put together a schedule.
Note the talks will take place in 340 West Hall on the University of Michigan campus. Entry to the building will be through the doors underneath the skybridge that connects West Hall and Randall Laboratory.
