Participants: Chiara, Dietrich, Ulrich (Chair)

  • Ulrich gave an update of recent activities, focussing on the documentation for DELPHI open data. In a hands on, he showed how it looks like, and gave a quick live presentation on how to use the docker container, simulating some events and scanning them with the event display
  • Dietrich presented the status of the data records, in particular huge progress on his efforts to create nested data records. The plan is to send new records as an intermediate step to Tibor, asking them to be added to the QA portal. The final version will require a bit more work, as adding the ECM energies requires to read the pilot data records from the samples.

Action items:

  • Send updated records to the open data team [Dietrich]
  • When the new records are in place, contact the collaboration via the delphi-news list, asking for a review and feedback on what is on opendata-qa.cern.ch for DELPHI [Ulrich]
  • Collect DELPHI recorded data from published papers per year/energy [Chiara]. Once we have these, an additional document or record should be created for the open data portal, as these numbers are important for specific analyses

AOB:

  • Chair rotation: as decided in the first meeting of the data preservation board, Dietrich will take over as chair of the board for the next 6 months
