Beam transfer
Alex recall the beam optic modification around the T4 target station
1 MSN downstream the XTAX shifted in TCC2
No extra magnets on P42 beam line are only shift and change of polarity of magnets ~7 magnets to reach a beam line height of 1.7m and a shift of the beam line of 0.5m towards the ''jura side'' ahving a beamline becoming more parallel to the TCC8/ECN3 cavern walls
Summary impact:
A Beam line optic file to be provided to integration to create beam line skeleton to draft an integration model of new beam line: Action: Alex/Dipanwita to share a file with reference points to Beatriz
A preliminary beam line integration model to be built around this new skeleton to identify the possible impact of the new beam line: Action Beatriz
To be seen if the Re installation of magnets in P42 can be done after LS3 during a yets to not overload activity during LS3 (3-4 magnets impacted)
To create a table with all modification (supports, cables, door, fiducialization, magnetic measurment....) Action: Alex/Laurie/Francecso
For the dilution further work is needed
But most likley ~80m are required in TCC8 to make the dilution
A functionnal spec need to be defined together with SHiP to define the dilution system and the target Action: Matt / Richard / Rui
Target station
The reference interaction point ''zero'' on the target to be considered for all parties is the upstream face of tungsten block
Mike presented the 2 design options being studied for the target having a sligtly longer tungsten block
Due to this target length increase the current atrget station layout would have to be updated Action: jean-Louis
SHiP
For SHiP there are no change for the time being with the current layout
The SHiP equipement would have to be repositionned on the new skeleton once available Action: lukasz
Jean-Christophe recall the fact taking in consideration the curvature of the beam line and having implenting the midle of NA62 as normal to gravity
This need further investigation by BE-GM (investiogation of curvature, roll with respect to CERN Central Coordinate System Action: Camille/ Jean-Christophe /Dirk
