WLCG: Ideas for a plan
- Simone Campana (CERN)

- David Britton (University of Glasgow (GB))
Description
There are many activities on the region, experiment and site level. WLCG should help to abstract and homogenise these approaches with the first goal to understand, at the level of the federated infrastructure, the environmental impact of the services we provide. Together with the experiments and resources providers a set of approaches and tools need to be developed that allow sites and users to track their progress towards reducing the environmental impact, be it relative or absolute.
