Testability in CROME: An Integrated Approach for SoC Heterogeneous Systems
In this talk will be outlined how our team approaches testability for CROME, a complex SoC-based heterogeneous system designed for deployment in safety-critical environments. Given the multi-faceted nature of CROME, testing is conducted at various levels of abstraction, with different goals ranging from rapid development feedback to thorough feature and integration testing.
We utilize different testing methods, such as formal verification, unit tests, hardware testbenches to ensure we cover all necessary aspects. The challenge lies in identifying what to test and how to test it, ensuring maximum test effectiveness as we scale up in system complexity, from gateware to the complete product.
The focus of this presentation will be on our new integration testbench, which automates final product testing and streamlines integration into our CI pipeline, providing faster and more reliable feedback during development.Speakers: Clyde Laforge (CERN), Emma Anna Safia Boulharts -
