A measurement of solar neutrino with XENONnT experiment

Room: Graduate Building D-122 The XENONnT experiment, located at the INFN Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso in Italy, is designed to detect a dark matter candidate—Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs)—by observing their interactions with xenon nuclei. A particularly intriguing aspect of this search is the potential for coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CEvNS) between Boron-8 neutrinos and xenon nuclei, which produces a signal similar to that of WIMPs. This seminar will present the first measurement of solar neutrinos via CEvNS, based on data analyzed from XENONnT's first two science runs.
