    • A few organisational items to discuss:
    • holding the meeting on a fixed bi-weekly, or monthly interval (until now, it was more on an add hoc basis)?
      • every two weeks
    •  creation of gaussino-dev and gaussino-user mailing lists?
      • gssino-dev (also for managing permission to gitlab) and gssino-user

     

    On the technical side:

    • review of pending MRs
      • Visualizatoin & CaloML MRs
        • Witek and Adam will have a look at the tests and approve the changes
    • plan of work for Gaussino (code review, clean up, etc)
      • Defining particles outside (independently of) physics list? Is transportation always attached to particles? (to be put in GitLab tasks)
      • Should TrCuts action be available in Gaussino? Yes, the 'cuts' processes are general enough to be in Gaussino. (to be put in GitLab tasks)
      • HepMC3ToMCTruthConverter fix for particle gun for PrintDecay. (to be put in GitLab tasks)
      • Generic cut tool (based on HepMC3::Relatives)
        • functionality to be put in Gaussino (Adam)
    • adding AdePT interface in Gaussino
      • Juan setting up the Calo Challenge example for AdePT
      • we need some fixes in Gaussino (Witek)
      • we need to add lhcb-sim11-g4+cuda platform to Sim11 slot (Marco)
      • AdePT, VecGeom, G4HepEm, how to handle them? Some, we need to compile against LHCb Geant4. (to be discussed by Gloria, Marco and Witek)
    • planning the follow up of the MT discussion (started with ATLAS before the summer) and possible implication for Gaussino
      • mini-hackathon on the 13th on November during Gaussino technical meeting
