ROOT Team Meeting
- Shift: nothing outstanding from this week. Note: we have ARM nodes in the CI, nightlies, PR and commit builds.
- RNtuple focus session: maybe not during the hackathon but the week after, with Philippe here at CERN!
- RooFit: small meeting, about SBI.
- We'll have a presentation by Pavlo this week on Thursday at the PP
Hackathon:
- 3 wg: python(isations), modernisation of tutorials and documentation - next week to confirm something about RNTuple or not
- We need 2 coordinators each
- Different from last time: items are not issues like last time, compartimentised in 3 (4) different categories
- 3 GH projects will be prepared to expose the items of work
CHEP:
- No blocker ahead, """just""" preparing the slides
Round table highlights:
- Need a last round of review of the TBufferMerger PR by Philippe and then it's ready to merge
- CMS AOD -11% in size, memory still high though.
- RooFit: will be discussed at the CAT meeting this week.
- Vassil pledges help in reporting feedback about C++26 reflection to one of the authors of the proposals
- We need to do something about the video material for ROOT
