      Planning Discussion 1h
Speakers: Daniel Guerrero (Fermi National Accelerator Lab. (US)), Elias Bernreuther (Fermilab), Freya Blekman (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DE)), Dr Georgios Krintiras (The University of Kansas (US)), Ka Hei Martin Kwok (Fermi National Accelerator Lab. (US)), Keith Ulmer (University of Colorado, Boulder (US)), Luigi Marchese (ETH Zurich (CH)), Phat Srimanobhas (Chulalongkorn University (TH)), Yuri Gershtein (Rutgers State Univ. of New Jersey (US))

List of potential speakers suggested recently:

      • Wei Li from Rice University; Wei has a diverse portfolio and can talk about for example either CMS (HIN-21-013, tracker upgrade) or muon-ion collider
      • Christophe Royon from The University of Kansas; Christophe is a leading expert in various QCD aspects and could talk about the CT-PPS program in CMS
      • Ben Kilminster from Zurich University with a leading expertise on various searches
      • Ben Nachman (LBNL): Unfolding, anomaly detection or generative modeling
      • Josh Bendavid (MIT): W mass - he’s based at CERN but I assume he visits the US
      • Loukas Gouskos (Brown): Higgs-quark couplings at FCC-ee
      • Philipp Windischhofer (U Chicago): ATLAS HHbbtautau (suggestion from Marko)
      • Aishik Ghosh (UC Irvine / LBNL)[postdoc]: Higgs width / uncertainty quantification
      • Ben Hooberman (UIUC): muography / ATLAS Run 3 displaced track leptons(https://cds.cern.ch/record/2905292)

      Action items:
         Send the following invites:

      Josh Bendavid W mass Martin
Wei Li - heavy ion, ion-muon collider Martin
      Ben Nachman - ML Keith
      Amit Lath scouting Yuri
Nico Serra - Ship (check in) Gabriele/Jen
Ben Hooberman - displaced lepton searches. March 2025 Keith

Aim to have an event before the end of year.

      - Will add Rodolfo Capdevilla from Fermilab theory group to the TOTW committee
