Description
ownCloud 10 is EOL and for sciebo we needed to make a difficult choice on how
to continue for the upcoming years.
As a result, we are now in the process of migrating 230k users across
approximately 45 instances from ownCloud 10 to Nextcloud.
We will report on:
- why we chose to continue our own helm chart
- fixes and features we needed before making the move
- first roadblocks and how we've overcome them
- current progress
- hopefully no horror stories
- streamlining database operations of 45 galera clusters
- evolution of our application landscape
