On the proposal of having a White Paper depicting the "initial" state of the project, it was noted that the scope of the paper needs to be well defined. The idea was to start from a collection of input proposals, with some updates. It was also noted that the document becomes easily out-of-date due to the continuous development of the detectors, and the publishing could take a long time due to the revised version. Moreover, due to the European Strategy update, we'll have to provide input. Due to all these motivations, the proposal is set on hold for now.
A poll will be circulated to determine the best slot for the technical board meetings.
- WPs organisation status
WP1 (Lucia): The election was done in September and they are waiting for approvals. A deputy (Adrian) has been nominated and they are putting together a steering group.
WP2 (Nicolas): nothing special to report.
WP3 (Michaela): Deputy WP coordinator (Marco Lucchini) was elected and already helping in the WP organisation. They are looking for a representative for the Speaker and Publication Committee. They asked for 2 contacts for each project, even though the vote remains one per project.
WP4 (Christophe): They are for now a small group who are doing mainly technical work. They will report at the forthcoming Collaboration Meeting. They are also working in connection with EIC development. Concerning the DAQ part, they need to get in contact with interested groups.

DRD7 (Frank): There is an ongoing discussion on the input to the European Strategy. The proposal is to have a unified approach among the DRDs

It was noted that some software (e.g. Pandora) is difficult to use and configure. The proposal is to have some tutorials at the kickoff meeting of WG1
Positive feedback on Brieuc Francois as WG1 coordinator. Follow up: I talked to him on Friday and he accepted the role.

It was noted to include also Japanese beam lines in all the available ones, especially for when the other beamlines will be shut down. Please also note that the option in BNL is available under payment per hour.
