2 VO Liaison CMS

Speaker: Katy Ellis (Science and Technology Facilities Council STFC (GB))

Some failures on the AAA machines - Katy restarted the services again on Tuesday night and SAM tests are green again since then. 

Intermittent failures on ARC-CE tests seem more regular in the last weeks.

Still some problems with passing token/CE tests. It appears to have worked once, but not again!

Job performance is good.

3 VO Liaison LHCb

Tickets:

• Problems with VO-box access (GGUS 168905)
  • A sandbox that introduces FQAN-based authentication is applied to the host
    • May need some "linting" though

 

Operational issues:

• Faulty changed rolled-out to preprod farm, breaking xrootd-proxy
  • Fixed the next day
• There was a spike of failed uploads from RAL WNs to CERN yesterday
  • Mostly affected RAL->CERN channel, but other sites have a few failures as well, so probably not our problem.

4 VO Liaison ALICE

5 VO Liaison LSST

GSTSM-199 Still not dealt with, passed on to Tom Birkett, awaiting his input

 

Last component (IngestD) to be deployed and configured at RAL tomorrow afternoon - after that site is ready to accept data from LSST and automatically be ingested for analysis workflows

 

Database team talked to about the Butler (metadata server), and they are happy to take over from our dev setup - and being worked on
