Management
No news, but Athena has finally received the letter of endorsement last week.
ICD/SoW
We got the CSU version of SoW with their comments. Franck got some updated designs.
Cabling: CSU insisted that we had to route the cable along the edge of POLAR-2. Franck has designed the passage of the cable, to illustrate the problem this option causes to us. Their reply is that we cannot change it unless we write an impact report, which Johannes will prepare.
ComBox
Discussion on buying the communication FW. If we do so, we do not to buy the Combox.
Nicolas together with Domink will design a block diagram to define the needs of the communication part.
For the cabling to the station, we will need the support of CSU.
Modules
The FW of the module at biotech has to be updated. Next time the setup is opened, we will updated the FW.
Franck is examining the possibility to use a carbon fiber braid.
With the simulations Franck is examining various improvements on the module design.
Sockets: mould design has to be adapted as there is a lack of material in the edges. The mould angles have to be smoother.
Franck would like to start a preproduction of some 20 pieces.
Coralie has wrapped some 20 bars, she is busy with ITK. It would be nice to have 500 bars wrapped by the end of the year, to see if we can give a hand to Coralie.
FEE
JochenNDA/Merlin/Nicolas are in Ferrara at a beam test. Polar-2 FEE with CsBr and GAGG.
Readout with GPIO, some problems seen with Zynq, to be solved when Nicolas is back.
BEE/PHU
Philipp will send a newdle link to define a new meeting date for the BEE/PHU layout review close-out. Anyway, nothing more can be done until the LoE is released.
Mechanics
Franck has worked on the path of the robotic arm adapter cable. Johannes is preparing a document explaining the problem the path imposed by CSU will generate on the POLAR-2 scientific mission.
