You will need to arrange accomodation for yourself, using a platfrom such as booking.com (for hotels) or airbnb.com (for budget appartments). We advise you to book at a location in the city center, that is walking distance (up to 1 km) from the University.

We have no special arrangments with any specific venue, but few examples for hotels are, listed in preferencial order, are:
Crystal Palace Boutique Hotel - 4 star, right next to the University, price range 120-150€/night
Eurostars Sofia City - 4 star, 15 mins walking distance, price range 100-120€/night
Arte Sofia Hotel - 3 star, 20 mins walking or 10-15 mins by public transport, price range 70-100€/night
Hotel Downtown - 4 star, 20-25 mins walking or 10-15 mins by public transport, price range 70-100€/night
We would advise to AVOID the following areas:
Lion Bridge (Lavov most): noisy and can be unsafe at night
Macedonia square (pl. Makedonija): can be unsafe at night
North of "Zaimov Park": not that well maintained buildings
If you decide to book a location outside of the city center, we recommend to select a location close to the M1 and M4 metro lines in the southern part of the city. All locations along the M1 are good, as well as all locations on the M4 between the Serdika and IEC (InterExpoCenter) stations.
