Management
No news from Poland, but there seems to be some sign of progress.
SoW/ICD
Johannes has contacted CSU for Combox ICD and thermal question, asking to have a meeting. In principle if they agree we will have a meeting on Friday at 10:30.
Modules/thermal/mechanics
Condensator of damaged FEE was not automotive type. Indeed it is physically cracked typical damage for ceramics condensators. More tests will be done to study those condensators.
We should study the FEE heating with the thermal camera. Also Franck is studying the possibility to replace the Al plate. Also, having a longer flewx could be a solution to increase thermal resistance between FEE main board and SiPMs.
CD has been contacted about the sockets (no reply yet). In principle the sockets will be ready by the end of the months. 10 pieces for pre-production. Will be done with the 6 moulds. white painbting: Frnack has been called, to know the situations with POLAR-2.
Top cover could be painted.
If we foresee a new set of tests with thermal module, new Al holders and Al plate/grid could be used. 2-3 weeks needed to prepare it.
FEE
Zynq readout: Vishal has been testing the SiPMs various gains and voltages. Still analysing the data.Boards is still crashing. when running for 1-2 days when the board crashes.
1900 files then crashes. It looks that when data rate is high, the board crashes.
Tests will be done at CERN with Zynq.
FW: There is number for the compression level, it was badly placed in the register. Now it is placed correctly. This requires the gui config file to be changed and also the Zynq configuration. Also sync clock is coming from outside, but it is now also possible to use the internal clock for debugging/emergency purposes. Some little problem, the clock frequencies are different and this has to be taken into account.
BEE/PHU
No news for the moment. This should be done sooooon. There is still one question to be submitted to Yannick.
