Management

Polish LoE: still waiting, a bit better understanding on what's going on but not news yet.

SoW/ICD

Combox ICD: no feedback.

Thermal analysis report expected from CSU. But we need some input from them, which they seem not to want to give before having a report. Johanne will send a template structure to Franck, so that the key questions are transmitted to CSU.

Modules/thermal/mechanics

Franck is still working on the thermal model. Heat of BEE/PHU/Com send to the back of POLAR-2. SiPM temperature goes down pretty well, down to 5 C.

Need to understand with CSU what can be the temperature of CSS interface.

Franck has to find a way to 95% decouple grid and modules from the BEE/PHU/Com.

Now focusing in FEA to define the baseline. Then will work on the thermo-mechanical part of the system.

Add more thermal sensors on the module to understand the temperature on the bars. 2-3 weeks to have another mechanical model, if we want to test it.

Philipp and Franck will discuss about it after the meeting.

CD: moulds are being finished. Then they will start the production, should be ready by Feb. 10th. with all the re-machining.

FEE

Tests at CERN: see Vishal's presentation.

Done with GPIO setup. Today will do a proper scan of a full module. Then will do the same test with the Zynq DAQ.

Need to understand how many photons per keV we have from the tests: 30 ADC per keV, 40 ADC per PE: more or less one PE per keV. But it should be possible to have 1.5 PE per keV.

Adrien has done a new FW, version 2.4, it does not work with Zynq.

NDA will do tests with the Zynq readout. Will be in Geneva for the workshop.

Some clarification on the HV setting and reading are needed. This is something that can be simply checked with a voltmeter.

SiPMs

Need to have the Cascade for a larger temperature range. Range and sample size to be fully tested has to be optimized with the testing time and availability of the machine.

After discussion with Didier, we will have very soon a 2-week testing time. This will allow to optmize the testing procedure (e.g. test many arrays at the same time), IV-range and temparature range.

SiPM arrays received in three packages: 120; 120; 10 .

The 10-pieces package will be tested on the small probe station.

Jianchao would like to have his 10 SiPMs fully tested, with an extended temperature range.

BEE/PHU

BEE/PHU: Documentation sill to be finalized.

AoB

ESA would like to have some report on the past activity and future 6 months. Also to have scintillators testing results.

Johannes will prepare some slides for next Monday.

Beam test in Shanghai: we should apply for that before the end of March. Jiancho will proceed with the application.

Philipp will send to Jinachao the application document of ESRF.
