News & Status

• Round table on benchmark jobs close to be finished
  • Possibly contribution from EUROFusion? 
    • UK office may be an option, possibly for 19 June
  • Preparation of summary document pending
    • after the EUROfusion presenation
• EUROfusion workshop on "online training" status (Eva)
  • Speakers found, aim for 9 October (Eva will send a question to the mailing list)
• EUROfusion workshop on "maintenance of (old) equipment"
  • aim for 1 July 
    • remote maintenance, radiation, ... 
• Development and connecting training catalogs 
  • Fellow at CERN has started implementing a catlog for "high energy physics"
    • Planned to be connected to other catalogs in different EOSC science clusters (neutron/light sources, environmental sciences, life sciences)
    • Propose to look into a similar system in the context of the EIROforum once the HEP instance is up and running
• Report to the DGs assembly on 28 May
  • Eva will provide a list of workshops that 
• FAIR organising training "engineer your careers"
  • organised at the university level, 250 trainees in the last few years attended
  • date: 14 October 
  • present the idea in the forthcoming WG meeting. 19 June
• Angela, ERIC interested in "benchmark jobs" and organising a (online) workshop on the topic
  • WG can provide names for presenters
