CN Juniors' Lecture Series 4: Flow of Charmonia (粲偶素流)

Asia/Shanghai
Chunzheng Wang (Fudan University (CN))
Description

Recent results on charmonia elliptic flow with ALICE

Due to the perturbative and non-perturbative regimes involved,  charmonia production provides a unique testing ground for understanding QCD.  In addition, charmonia serves as an important tool for investigating the properties of the strongly interacting medium produced in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC energy. Furthermore,  charmonia elliptic flow dynamically offers crucial insights into the thermalization of charm quarks within the QGP medium. This presentation will provide an overview of the Jpsi elliptic flow from ALICE Collaboration.

The talk will be given by Dr. Liuyao Zhang from GSI & Fudan University. Dr. Zhang is an expert in J/Psi physics and anisotropic flow studies. During his Ph.D., they primarily worked on the CMS experiment, and during their postdoctoral research, he focused on the ALICE experiment. He has the extensive experience in physics analysis across various domains.

For convenience, this lecture will primarily be conducted in Chinese.

We would like to thank the ALICE Juniors’ representatives and the ALICE Juniors community for their strong support of this event.
