  • Lattice comparison report
    • Question of the effect of errors which should be taken into account and used to drive improvement of the lattice
    • ABP plans to add effect of errors and beam-beam on the tuning section
    • Say in the injection region that they perform OK but as shown in the BB and tuning section the DA and MA are lower which is critical
  • Top-up injection
    • Using Xutil tuning and setup tools
    • LCC V105 showed low MA but results shown are not representative, explained by vertical dispersion -> much better with V106
    • Xutil is not the source of the lattices, but only for the manipulations
    • Xutil also has DA/MA implemented, presented simulations here are using more angles which may be the source of differences
    • Results presented do not form a consensus and present some incoherences, therefore the slides will not be public

    • Influence of orbit bump on injection efficiency is minimal

    • Need to properly dimension the bump amplitude and the chamber size
    • Collimations gaps are at 8-9.5 sigma in H and 1.1-1.3 % in momentum for GHC and LCC
