Algorithmic advances for the HMC and applications in large-scale simulations

I will present progress in approaches such as the Riemannian-Manifold HMC and the Field-Transformed HMC to mitigate the critical slowdown of generating QCD gauge configurations towards the continuum limit.  I will also show how some of these improvements are already in production use for RBC/UKQCD.
