Upgrade of HRS Beam Gate with Fast Switching and New Control System Features

The HRS beam gate is located in the ISOLDE hall and consists of electrostatic plates positioned after the separator magnet to control the flow of secondary RIB beams. Last year, the switches controlling the beam gate were upgraded to support fast switching at 10 kHz. A new control system was also introduced, featuring an advanced GUI application that offers customizable logic for opening and closing the gates. This seminar aims to present the new system and its capabilities, as well as gather feedback from experiment users on additional features for future development.
