2025 ALICE USA meeting at UT Austin

Description

The 2025 ALICE USA meeting will be held in-person at UT Austin from May 28-30, 2025, in the Avaya Auditorium. The meeting will feature presentations highlighting research efforts from US ALICE institutions. In addition, there will be overview talks on ALICE’s current status and future plans, with a focus on US-led efforts, as well as invited talks from other heavy-ion experiments and theory groups.

We invite all ALICE USA students and postdocs who wish to present their work to submit a talk title using "Call for Abstracts" module. 

 The schedule is as follows:

  • May 28: A full day dedicated to junior training, including ALICE analysis tutorials, an overview of key tools, and career development tips. The council meeting will also take place on this day, followed by a collaboration dinner.
  • May 29: The morning will feature overview talks on ALICE-USA priorities including physics goals, and detector/software developments. The afternoon will focus on junior talks.
  • May 30: The final day will include topical talks by invited speakers.
