  The talk will go through two years of research, presenting an overall picture of the state of the art techniques for obtaining a fixed phase of few picoseconds in the timing distribution systems for the experiments. An overview on the complexities for stabilizing a cascade of timing links is presented, with details on the solutions adopted to solve for sub-UI phase jumps and temperature induced phase drifts
