Weekly chat on High Level Reco for FCC

Europe/Zurich

[Sara] Nothing new.
[Lena] Update on the study of possible datasets to design to improve performance of training
[Anna] Implementing the direct pfow validation from edm4hep, adding also some variables discussed last week. Also had a look at the implementation of the mlpf, especially at the cell level links to MC. Comparison of those to the reco-MC links will give insight on that part of pandora. [Brieuc] to be investigated what of that validation could be run in nightlies, in our validation workflow (within Gaudi).
[Andrea] Track fitting: genfit can be linked with the k3RecTracker project, but there are some ROOT file missing.
Track finder: now we have a "by hand" computation of the left and right position from the circles.

[Brieuc] https://github.com/key4hep/k4RecTracker/blob/master/cmake/FindGenFit.cmake
[Michele] a check can be done by running a fit to the track found by ML pattern recognition on the CLD
[Dolores] (ACTS and drift chamber)
[Brieuc] Thomas Madlner is steering an effort to get acts integrated properly with key4hep
[Iza] Still catching up [Brieuc] discussed today with Giovanni and identified some tasks that could be distributed

[all] We agreed to fill in the codimd prior to the meeting so we can more easily comment
