Description
Theoretical physicists tend to wave away these problems, but the speaker will argue that they actually represent three crises in our theoretical thinking, perhaps as important as the difficulties physicists were facing at the end of the 19th century, and that these three problems may well be connected. Colloquium in connection with the TH Institute on Quantum Gravity
