The winding machine is not operational for the moment.

There is an error message, which we believe it is linked to a converter.

Jerome is in contact with the company (NUM) in Switzerland:

• The person who followed our machine is retiring this year. For the moment he's very busy in a project in Bordeaux and cannot intervene right away
• We are checking if we can send the component (converter) to the company or ask for a replacement
• Alternatively we are also checking if there is the possibility of getting support from NUM in France, since the Swiss support seems not very reactive.
• Short term strategy is to be able to start the machine and do the winding tests
• On long term, the control system needs to be replaced (likely to Siemens)

 

In the other hand , the 3D printed pieces for the winding mock-up are almost finished.
