Internal Discussion of CBM Collaborators in Theme Meeting of FAIR- Science at Panjab University
The objective of the CBM-India-Day on April 25, 2025, is to provide a forum for discussion on the past, present and future plans of institutes from India in CBM, with a view to identifying opportunities for further strengthening the long-standing fruitful cooperation with India.
The programme for the CBM-India-Day on April 25, 2025 will include:
- A presentation on the status of the CBM experiment at FAIR-GSI (30 minutes).
- A presentation on the status of the MuCh system in CBM (30 minutes).
- A roundtable discussion with representatives from each participating Indian institute in CBM (10 minutes per institute, with three slides)
- Information about the group, including expertise and interests, as well as involvement in other experiments;
- contributions to CBM to date (if none, no problem, we should try to understand why and how to improve);
- future plans in CBM (detector, computing, science topics).
- A brief summary of the contributions made by the Indian group, based on the preceding presentations, is to be provided.
- Following the lunch break, a duration of approximately two hours is to be allocated for the discussion of future directions.
