IOC+ACP2025 LOC Meeting

1. Input from the LOC on logistics
   • We have received some inputs from the LOC on logistics (visa, housing); Prof Amou spoke about the other inputs as appear on the agenda. We agreed that by the next meeting on April 16, the LOC will send written details on the logistics items mentioned on the agenda (to be transferred to the conference web page).
2. Scientific program
   • There were several encouraging progress reports on HEP, physics commnunications, early career session, physiscs education, biophysics, cross-cuting fields, nuclear physics, medical physics.
   • We dicussed more speaker suggestions for the opening talks and the plenary talk on materials physics.
   • Prior to the meeting, Lawrence had communicated details (talk titles & potential speakers) on the light sources & applications.
3. We suggest hearing by email from the other session conveners on their progress: astrophysics & cosmology, quantum computing, complex system, nanoscience, earth science, energy)
4. The next meeting will on April 16
   • The call for abstracts will close on April 15
   • We will discuss the contributed abstract review and selection
   • We will continue the discussion on the invited speakers
     • Please prioiritze invted speakers that can attend in person, even if they say that they do not have funds. We will discuss funding coverage later. 
     • You shoudl star inviting your prioritized list of the speakers.
