Integration of the new benchmark in the accounting workflow

Europe/Zurich

Attended:

Adrian, Tom, Alessandro, Carlos, Josep, Maria, Julia

APEL

Adrian prepared the text for a broadcast, but before it is sent, he needs to check the ticket submitted by one of the sites reporting issues on changing config for the APEL client. When the problem is understood, the broadcast can be sent early next week or so.

Adrian also reported that the staging instance should be fine for getting testing reports, and Adrian saw reports from Maria. Josep told that the staging instance of the EGI repository has been cleaned up.

Adrian told that accounting with tokens has been discussed the authorization WG meeting. There is a temporary solution which might be considered by APEL using the current format of tokens used by the LHC VOs. Final solution can be applied only when proper token profile is agreed by all parties and this can take more time. Julia asked whether there is a plan to present this temporary solution at the WLCG WS. She will discuss it with Maarten who is in charge of the token transition session at the WS.

Maria asked about testing priorities, since she is now busy with AUDITOR, can testing of the reports with a benchmark tags can be postponed a bit. Julia told, that certainly, there is no rush, since we expect slow upgrade of the sites to the reporting with the benchmark tags.

EGI portal

Josep told that he had fixed majority of issues with the new version of portal , including APIs. Some issues with UI when VO attribute is used are still there (not for WLCG pages), it might take a bit more time for debugging. Julia will play with the staging isntance of the portal and let Josep know, whether it looks OK. Josep also reported about progress with authentication for restricted views. Though, could be that we do not need user view in the EGI portal (to be confirmed by EGI ops), this functionality might be useful for some other views.

Next meeting is next Friday , ususal time slot. Tom and Adrian will not be able to join, however we decided to keep the meeting to discuss the progress in update of the EGI portal.
