I will discuss the calculation of the NNLO QCD contribution  to the N-jettiness soft function for arbitrary number of hard emitters,  and  power corrections in the zero-jettiness slicing scheme to  the production of an arbitrary color-neutral final state in quark collisions at NLO QCD.
