Description

The Greek High Energy Physics community contributed very significantly from the R&D, to the construction and commissioning of the Muon Endcap New Small Wheel subdetector. In this talk, the recent full integration of the NSW Trigger is presented. This is one of the major ATLAS milestones, achieved in 2024, where the full NSW, sTGC amd Micromegas, was integrated in the ATLAS central trigger system and provided a background rejection of about 12 kHz. This allowed ATLAS to run with the maximum pileup of 65.
