HIGHER EFFICIENCY WLS AND LIGHT COLLECTION 2
▪︎ Goal 1: R&D on high-efficiency and large-area WLS, as well as scalable production and evaporation sources.
‣ Deliverable: A two-part report: (i) on the development of optimized WLS and (ii) on the scaling-up of evaporation sources.
▪︎ Goal 2: R&D on light collection in noble elements and light readout for liquid scintillators.
‣ Deliverable: A two-part report: (i) on the development of optimized large-area photon collectors for cryogenic detectors and (ii) on a fiber-based light readout for liquid scintillators.
