Join the 2025 summer school on experimentation-driven research methodologies at CERN IdeaSquare from 9th-13th June in Geneva and expand your research skills with hands-on, interdisciplinary training.


This unique programme offers expert-led seminars, roundtable discussions, and interactive workshops on designing, executing, and analysing experiments for innovation research, followed by an optional on-site experiment. Led by renowned researchers from Stanford University, University of Agder, Eindhoven Technical University, and CERN, the summer school covers experimentation-driven methodologies, their real-world applications, data collection and analysis, and how to theorise and publish your findings.

Open to PhD students and senior academics from any discipline, this tuition-free programme also includes networking opportunities, visits to CERN’s experimental sites, and a social dinner at Bains-des-Pâquis, Geneva.
