Description

The Starterkit is a set of introductory tutorials on LHCb software. Usually targeted towards PhDs, this second edition of the Starterkit-for-All workshop is open to all career levels and will concentrate exclusively on the Run 3 software.

More specifically, it targets expert analysts who are already familiar with the Run 2 software. It will consist of hands-on lessons on four topics: The LHCb stack and the Allen software; Analysis Productions; the Moore/HLT2 software; and advanced techniques for DaVinci in Run 3.

It will take place at CERN on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, but will also be available virtually for those who cannot make the trip. There will be no registration fee. The lessons will also be recorded and later be made available for members of the LHCb Collaboration.

Documentation references for the various software projects are collected in the software landing page: https://lhcb-software-landing.web.cern.ch/

Hope to see you there!
