Description
This presentation offers a global overview of current digital preservation practices, with a particular focus on how institutions identify, select, and appraise data for long-term preservation. We will explore a developing framework within the EOSC EDEN project that guides the identification of preservation-worthy data based on criteria such as usage, benefit, and quality.
To foster interaction and gather insights from the audience, the session will include live Menti questions. These will help us better understand the real-world challenges and strategies participants face in the identification, selection, and appraisal of digital data.
