- Exploring the role of trustworthy repositories in relation to data sovereignty: Participants will understand how trustworthy digital repositories act as a foundation for data sovereignty in Europe by ensuring control, transparency, and compliance with European values and regulations.
- Identifying frameworks and tools that enable sovereignty: The session will introduce approaches such as assessment matrices and capability models that help repositories demonstrate sovereignty-supporting features like governance, transparency, and FAIR compliance.
- Learning from best practices and real-world examples: Through examples and discussion, participants will explore best practices, challenges, and priorities for building a network of trustworthy repositories that reinforce data sovereignty while enabling cross-border research and innovation.
